Marriage is a serious thing and we've all heard about brides getting cold feet days before the big day, some even run away from the altar on the day itself. In the fourth episode of "Married By Mom and Dad," Christina Rollyson and his groom-to-be had to call off their wedding.
Kevin, the guy Christina's father and stepmom chose to be their daughter's husband, called it quits after failing to find a chemistry between him and his bride-to-be. The wedding is all set and all they have to do is just walk down the aisle and say their vows. "I'm excited that now Christina is gonna have that special, magic moment," Christina's stepmom says. Christina has revealed she's been dreaming of her wedding day ever since she was a child.
Kevin turned up in the chapel unexpectedly, much to Christina and her father's surprise. He was supposed to appear on the wedding day itself. Kevin explained to Christina that he wanted to make sure there is chemistry between them before they tie the knot that's why he came. Unfortunately, he said he doesn't feel having any connection with her, although he wished he had.
"That passion for me is just, like, everything. I wanted it so bad," Kevin said.
Christina, despite feeling devastated, thanked Kevin for being honest, telling him that at the end of the day, "we have to follow our hearts." And instead of dwelling on how things didn't work, Christina looked at the brighter side, saying that she realized how her parents love her so much.
"I do have unconditional love," she told her guests. "Let's go party - a celebration of love."
Will Christina take another go with the "Married by Mom and Dad" process or will she just remain single for now? That's something fans can look forward to in the next episode.
In the meantime, watch the video here and meet the Rollysons.
