"Pitch Perfect 3" will start filming in the third quarter of this year but fans are already being treated to spoilers, which include a happy ending for Fat Amy and the Barden Bellas being led by Emily.
Rumor has it that Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) will be walking down the aisle to marry Bumper (Adam DeVine) in "Pitch Perfect 3," wrote Cross Map. In "Pitch Perfect 2," fans saw how the couple's relationship went into a rollercoaster ride starting off as a secret affair, until Bumper finally fell deeply in love with Amy.
Amy, on the other hand, was in denial and broke Bumper's heart by breaking up with him. When she realized her mistake, though, Fat Amy made up for it in one of the funniest scenes in "Pitch Perfect 2."
It would not be impossible if the two lovebirds would go down the marriage path in the third film. Seeing that Fat Amy has become the epitome of a bullied woman who did not take the name-calling get to her and who found someone who could love her no matter what, fans will surely look forward to the happy culmination of her love life.
"Pitch Perfect 2" ended with the graduation of most of the Barden Bellas' members, leaving a talented Bella behind. Since Beca (Anna Kendrick) and Chloe (Brittany Snow) left the leader post open, it is almost certain that Emily Junk (Hailee Steinfeld) will be spearheading the new breed of Barden Bellas, Parent Herald noted.
When Steinfeld was announced to reprise her role as Emily in "Pitch Perfect 3," it was said that "she will be back to lead the Barden Bellas with the help of Kendrick, Wilson, and Snow." Could it be that the two alumnae will be passing the baton to her?
"Pitch Perfect 3" will commence production on Aug. 7, with all the four actresses previously mentioned coming back to reprise their characters. Elizabeth Banks is also back in the director's chair to helm the film.
