'Wonder Woman' News: Most Anticipated Comic Book Character Debut in 2016; BvS Synopsis Mum About Her Role in the Film

"Wonder Woman" appears to be the darling of the comic fans as she gathers the number 1 spot of the most anticipated comic book character debut in 2016. Her character is making so much noise in the comic book series, but the Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice remains mum of her role in the film as it also releases its new synopsis.

Comic Book reports the poll about which first superhero appearance are the fans really looking forward to appear in the big screen. Unsurprisingly, "Wonder Woman" is on top of the list. The role will be played by Gal Gadot and she will be appearing in Warner Bros. DC's "Batman Vs Superman." Long considered as one of the most iconic female superheroes, her silver screen debut is way past due. With a follow up solo film in 2017 fans will surely be in for a treat.

Coming up right behind "Wonder Woman" is Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), then Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), and Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman).

Digital Times gives their feedback on the much longer synopsis on the upcoming film "Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice." Noticeably, nothing says anything new about what would "Wonder Woman's" role in the movie would be.

With that being said, the latest teaser of "Batman Vs Superman" somehow implied a minor aspect of her role. Each superhero thinks that Princes Diana is associated with the other. Other than that is the presumption that her involvement is somewhat unclear during the clash between Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne.

International Business Times says nothing about "Wonder Woman" but adds that the synopsis for "Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" reveals the raw truth about Batman's return. It is because of Superman's unwary actions during his fight with General Zod which left the city of Metropolis in ruins. But as their bitter encounter ensues there is a mystical figure with intense power that could bring the world to an end. To the disappointment of many is the non appearance of Aquaman in the trailers even with the official release just a few months away.

What do you think about the latest trailer for Batman Vs Superman without an inkling of "Wonder Woman?"
