“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” fans are getting more excited for the release of the show this year. With that, many spoilers and details are storming the internet just like what a Reddit user revealed.
Redditor ViolatingNDA claimed that he have watched an advance screening of the movie and revealed some plot about the film. The user praised the film saying that it is the "greatest comic book movie since The Dark Knight."
The user said that the movie is very long just like “The Force Awakens” but it wasn’t dragging and every minute of the film matters. He also said that all the actors had a great performance. The character of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor will be admired and it will be “more complex” in the movie than what is seen in the trailers. Even the supporting roles of Jena Malone as a crippled Barbara Gordon and Scoot McNairy as Jimmy Olsen, a supporter of Superman were also great. He also said that Ben Affleck stood out.
"Ben Affleck as Bruce/Batman is definitely the standout performance. I was surprised/scared how different he became when he put the mask on. This Batman will come across as a villain to some viewers; he enjoys inflicting pain on criminals. There was a scene where he was branding a criminal, and he had the biggest smile on his face. I don't know how fans will react to that, but I felt it worked with this version of the character," ViolatingNDA wrote.
The Reddit user also added that the first two acts of the film is about the conflict between “Batman and Superman” while the third act is about the “Dawn of Justice.” But the two will eventually settle the conflict and the Justice League will be “fully assembled.”
It also gave reference to The Doomsday reveal in the trailer as “the tip of the iceberg”. He added in the comments about the LexOS subplot saying that the movie is fine without it but it was thrown to the plot so there will be more reasons to fight in the end.
"LexCorp is basically developing a worldwide drone system to protect against alien invasion. There is fierce opposition to it, especially from General Swanwick. He believes that humans should always be in control of powerful weapons such as the drones. This leads to a pretty cool scene of Swanwick sending his best pilot to compete against a drone, Hal Jordan! (played by Dan Amboyer)," he added.
Dan Amboyer will be playing the role of Green Lantern as the pilot Hal Jordan revealed himself in the end. In the final part of the film, Justice League will be complete with Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Green Lantern who will team up with Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and they will work together to face Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor, Telegraph reported.
To prove that he indeed watched the film, he uploaded a screenshot of the Warner Bros screening invitation for the advance filming. Many were also convinced because of the manner of how it was written giving a general review of the film.
But fans should be reminded that these are mere spoilers and are not yet confirmed.
“Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” will hit theatres on March 25, 2016.
