Serena Williams Rumors: World's No.1 Desperate To Have Own Children, Family

World’s no.1 Serena Williams is interested in having a family after all. In spite all of her success on the tennis court, the 18th Grand Slam champion revealed that she has a plan to settle down and have a family of her own in the future.

After another triumphant year that saw him winning another Grand Slam title in Flushing Meadows and retaining the top ranking on the WTA Tour, the 33-year old Williams has been spending her time doing photo shoots for sponsors and hanging around with BFF Caroline Wozniacki.

But on Thursday, Williams somehow found some time to have a chit-chat hour with her fans, who then took the opportunity to ask several intriguing questions to their tennis idols on social-networking site Twitter.

Perhaps, the most interesting question of all came from a fan, who asked Williams if she would like to settle down and have her own family.

"Desperately. My time will come. RT "@MonzellaC: @serenawilliams Do you ever want to settle down and have children," Williams in response to the question of a fan on Twitter.

Williams’ romantic life has been a mystery ever since she made a name for herself on the tennis court. There are numerous rumours floating around, Serena has not confirmed any of them.

With regards to having kids, Williams may wait two or three more years to finally have her children. In spite his advanced age, Serena is still pretty much the gold standard in women’s tennis as she’s currently in thick of a historic chase for 22 Grand Slam singles championship set by Steffi Graf of Germany.

Earlier this year, Williams was at the center of controversy after German tabloid Bild reported that she was pregnant and indicated coach Patrick Mouratoglou, who was the rumoured boyfriend of Serena at that time, was the father of the tennis player’s child.
