It seems as though legendary golfer "Gentle" Ben Crenshaw is looking to switch to a new pad! The 64-year-old athlete has just put his Austin, Texas mansion on the market for a whopping $6.2 million.
The 7,236 square foot home is propped up on an acre of land at "the end of a cul-de-sac in the Tarrytown neighborhood," Realtor.com reports. The property is currently being presented by listing agent Roxan Coffman of Roxan Coffman Properties.
The outdoor grounds boasts of luscious trees and greenery, a pool, a cabana, and a putting green of course! The listing describes 2610 Kenmore as:
"This privately gated and heavily treed prestigious estate is tucked away in a cul-de-sac in the heart of Tarrytown. Nestled on nearly one and a half acres, the secluded grounds allow for additional living space outdoors and boast an atmosphere of tranquility and total privacy. Outside enjoy a putting green, pool and a pool house with a kitchen and full bath."
Originally built in 1966 and purchased by Ben and Julie Crenshaw in 1988, the traditional style home encompasses six bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and one half bath. The master bath even has double sinks, a master bath, and a separate stand-in shower.
Not only that, but the home has also seen some upgrades, in spite of its aging structure: the office has built-in trophy cases, there's a copper ceiling in the dining room, the home is finished with brickwork on its walls, and it even has a marble floor at the home's entry foyer.
Ben Crenshaw net worth is $15 million.
