'X-Men: Apocalypse' Spoiler Alert: Evan Peters Teases 'Bigger,' 'Better' Quicksilver Sequence

Movie fans are going crazy with the many "X-Men: Apocalypse" updates that were released in the past few weeks. Marvel fanatics are even going crazier with the latest scoop from Evan Peters, that Quicksilver will get a "bigger and better" sequence in the movie.

Evan Peters sat down with MTV News last Friday, July 17, to share a few details about "X-Men: Apocalypse." The star, who plays the superfast mutant Quicksilver, made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in "X-Men: Days of Future Past." In the movie, his character was instrumental in rescuing Magneto, along with Professor X and Wolverine from the Pentagon. The actor revealed that the production team will be working on a sequence to top the Pentagon escape. Peters said, "This year we're working on something that's bigger and better, keeping the same elements that worked, then adding a few new ones. I'm really excited to see it all cut together, and I'm excited for people to see it, too. I think it's going to be a really fun sequence in what is going to be a massive X-Men movie. The scope of it - with the end of the world and Apocalypse coming - is going to be a very large, epic 'X-Men' film."

And while the actor's debut performance in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" was very short, Peters was happy to share with MTV News that his character will get more interaction with other mutants. The star reportedly had a great time working with other cast members, even describing Jennifer Lawrence as a great actress to work with.

It is still unclear as to what new elements will be injected into the Quicksilver scene. Although a previous Instagram snap shared by the "X-Men: Apocalypse" director Bryan Singer, may reveal a few details, reports Screen Rant. In the Instagram post, Singer captured an image of actors connected to wires against a green screen. This picture seems to depict a scene where actors look frozen in time or moving very slowly that they look frozen. This slow motion scene may reportedly be connected to the Quicksilver sequence.

Regardless whichever filming style or new elements are incorporated into the upcoming film, movie fans are eagerly awaiting for the movie's release. "X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated to hit the big screen on May 27, 2016.
