"Gotham" Season 2 has begun and in its return it showed that it somehow felt like a brand-new show altogether. The show may be bringing a new vibe as it offers back the beloved characters together with commitments and various agendas from season one. To spice things up in the new season, the Galvan siblings are bringing the nastiest villains to Arkham.
"Gotham's" FOX has invested a lot on its trailers and promos to bring to life what comes next in season two. This new season of "Gotham" will feature a whole new set of the struggle between heroism and villainy, which could immediately be seen in episode one entitled "Damned If You Do."
A "Gotham" Season 2 Episode 1 review by Den of Geek said that it touched all the right feelings, giving it a strong episode to begin the season. With the brand-new story, it gives fans something to look forward to and it does not leave the season one open ended as it fits with the open plot point nicely.
"Gotham" Season 2 Episode 1 "Damned If You Do" is set a month after the events from the season one finale, which gives the feeling of a new start from the end the first season. The series stays connected to the comic books, but is now more into risking a little to break away from its roots to make a good show, Screen Rant reported.
"Gotham" Season 2 first episode is handed off the villains because not only did Oswald Cobblepot a.k.a. Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) had a deal with Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and got fired, but he got to convince Commissioner Gillian Loeb (Peter Scolari) to retire. From the side of Arkham, the Galvan siblings, Tabitha (Jessica Lucas) and Theo (James Frain), were able to gather the asylum's "villains."
"Gotham" Season 2 fans should look forward to the reaction and events when the young Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) finally enters the "future-Batcave" for the first time.
"Gotham" returns for its second season and airs every Monday night on FOX.
