Following a never-ending series of spoilers and speculations about "Game of Thrones," this latest news from Daily Mail UK can finally put all the rumors to rest. May they all rest in peace, because now it can be told that Jon Snow is alive!
When actor Kit Harrington was recently quoted in a Dutch magazine saying he is still very much in the show, turns out he wasn't joking. The actor was spotted last Friday on the set in Belfast, Northern Island.
The pictures are blurry, but there's no denying that it is indeed Harrington a.k.a Jon Snow. He's dressed in signature Stark clothes, with a sword on his hip. Just a few steps away is a lady under an umbrella, who appears to be Lady Melisandre (Carice van Houten), the Red Witch who is rumored to be bringing Jon Snow back to life.
Unless this is all a flashback scene, this is so far the biggest confirmation that Jon Snow is not at all dead and coming back in "Game of Thrones" season six.
Meanwhile, in another filming location in Northern Ireland, a new set was spotted being constructed yesterday. As reported by Watchers on the Wall, a fan posted an Instagram photo of a castle with a drawbridge and the trout sigil of House Tully. This is obviously the set for Riverrun, Catelyn Stark's childhood home.
But what does this mean for the series' sixth season? In George R.R. Martin's fourth and fifth books, "A Feast for Crows" and "A Dance with Dragons," Jaime Lannister has actually travelled to Riverrun under Cersei's orders. A picture was also snapped showing red Lannister tents around the area. Could the TV show catch up with this storyline as well?
Exciting things are brewing in Westeros. Stay tuned for more updates!
