"StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" is slated to be released on Nov. 10. The final chapter for a 17-year-old story will be ending soon. Much has happened in the multiplayer façade of gaming, but with Starcraft, it never really lifted off.
"StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" fans do not really mind much the multiplayer aspect of the game. It is the story line, the campaign and gameplay that matters most with Blizzard's Starcraft, Lazy Gamer reported.
"StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm," the previous expansion pack, presented an appalling storyline. Kerrigan came back to being the Infested Kerrigan, after being redeemed at the end of "Wings of Liberty." Coming back free from the powers of the Overmind and Amon's power is The Queen of Blades, which was her original character. It may be that The Queen of Blades will stay that way.
"StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" contains two main storylines that need to be resolved by the game's end: the Protoss' reunion and the battle with Xel'Naga Amon. Aiur, the homeworld of the Protoss, needs to be reclaimed first. The Templar and the Dark Templar need to be able to reunite in order to defeat Amon, EuroGamer reported.
Amon, who always wanted the union between the Protoss and the Zergs, basically happened. They did not merge, but combined their forces together in order to defeat Amon. The Terrans joined the fight against Amon as well.
The Protoss succeeded in reclaiming Aiur. The Terrans and the Zergs must also come to terms. Internally, the Zergs must overcome Kerigan's leadership, and as with the Terrans, they are an army without a leader. However, Valerian seems a reasonable one for them.
"StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void's" major aspect of the story, is the relationship between Raynor and Kerrigan. They need to have a finale amongst this chaos.
"StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" fans will enjoy the game come Nov. 10.
