‘Genocidal Organ’ Movie News: Manglobe's Film Delayed and ‘Harmony’ Film's Premiere Date Moved Up to Replace it

The Manglobe's "Genocidal Organ" film will not push through with its scheduled premiere date. Instead, "Harmony" film has been moved up to replace the former film's debut.

Anime News Network reports that Manglobe's "Genocidal Organ" Film will be delayed in its theatrical release. The announcement has been made through the official website for the 3 movie adaptation of the novels of Project Itoh. Instead of "Genocidal Organ," "Harmony" movie will already open on November 13, although the later film has been slated on Dec. 4.

If remembered, the first schedule of "Genocidal organ" was in October, then later moved to November 13. However, Manglobe has filed bankruptcy on Tuesday. Thus, this action has created a ripple effect on the 3 movie adaptation of Project Itoh's novel. Crunchyroll states that it has shuffled the schedules of the said 3 films.

Fandom Post says there is no fix date that is set for "Genocidal Organ." Although, "Harmony" movie has swapped its schedule with science fiction movie adaptation of Satoshi Itō, it has not released its official trailer yet to promote it. This really has messed up a lot of things including the materials and marketing.

Anime News Network emphasizes that the 3 movie adaptation of Project Itoh, Satoshi Itō in real life, are produced by different studios and have different directors. "Genocidal Organ" is obviously produced by Manglobe and helmed by Shukou Murase. Studio 4°C has produced "Harmony" and is directed by Takashi Nakamura and Michael Arias. Then the 3rd movie adaptation, "The Empire of Corpses" is under WIT STUDIO, the producer of "Attack on Titan" movie, and is directed by Ryoutarou Makihara.

Report also mentions that the 3 movies " have already been picked up for North American release in 2016 from FUNimation."
