‘Star Wars The Force Awakens’: A Possibility of Two Skywalker Children; Gugu Mbatha-Raw Stars in Episode VIII?

Fall is the most appropriate time for Star Wars news. Although Disney hasn't released any new trailer yet, a lot of things are happening in the background of "The Force Awakens," which means fans are still debating about who will be the additions to the characters.

There are reports about a short-list for a woman character lead in "Star Wars: Episode VIII" this includes, Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin) and Olivia Cooke (Dying Girl). It is also rumored that this will be not just one, but two female roles, both are in the short list and important characters.

Well, there is a number four name on the short list, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, a British actress. The actress auditioned for a lead role in "Beyond the Lights." She also starred in "Jupiter Ascending" and is set to star in Perter Landesman's "Concussion" with Will Smith. Although, Disney has yet to confirm the speculations and it is still unclear about either of these characters.

On the other hand, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has too many unnamed heroes like Rey. She definitely would end up being a hero that has to figure with the "Force" in the new trilogy. Rey was put or left on Jakku, which will possibly continue Luke's story on Tatooine, so maybe Rey's parents left her in Tatooine for security. Another assumption is Han Solo's kid, Kylo Ren, and this could possibly be the most dramatic, as there have been talks that Kylo Ren and Rey will be appearing in the Maz Kanata flashback, so it is likely they are siblings.

If "The Force Awakens" ending features Rey (Kira) training under Luke to be the Jedi she has to be, then it is possible she is a Skywalker. All the possibilities are: Kylo and Rey are the children of Han Solo and Princess Leia, Rey is Luke's daughter by an anonymous character, and Kylo is Han and Leia's son, or it could be the other way around. It could also be as simple as Rey is just Force sensitive Jedi.

What the fans are sure of, there will be one new Skywalker in "The Force Awakens" or possibly two.
