The release of the iPhone 6s was epic and it seems that no other smartphone can beat it. Galaxy S6 Active has a lot to offer though but can it challenge the new flagship phone of Apple?
Design
The Galaxy S6 looks a little flimsy when it comes to design. It is made of a hard plastic and rubber, which allow it to be water and dust proof. It can be submerged in water for 30 minutes at a maximum depth of 1.5 meter.. It is also shock resistant and is available in gray, white, and blue colors
The iPhone 6s, on the other hand is well-constructed, boasting a full metal body and smooth, rounded edges. But its top-notch design does not make it waterproof. However, this unit features a fingerprint scanner which is not found on the S6 Active. It is also available in space gray, silver, gold, and rose gold colors.
Display
With a 5.1-inch super AMOLED screen, the S6 Active is undoubtedly bigger than the 4.7-inch IPS LCD screen of iPhone 6s. The S6 Active has a resolution of resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels with a very high density of 576 pixels per inch while the 6s has 750 x 1334 pixels with density of 326 pixels per inch plus 3D Touch technology feature.
Specs
The iPhone 6s is equipped with A9 chipset and dual core processor. The S6 Active, on the other hand, is powered by the fastest chipset Samsung has ever produced this year. The Exynos 7420 coupled with an octa-core processor will definitely give a much powerful and faster performance, ideal for those gamers and other heavy smartphone users out there.
Memory
The S6 active has the edge when it comes to RAM with its 3GB total memory while the iPhone 6s has only 2GB of RAM. Both units do not have any external memory slot.
Price
When it comes to price, the Galaxy S6 Active and iPhone 6s are basically just equal. It will costs you $199 per month with a two year lock-in contract.
