Warning: "The Walking Dead" Season 6 Spoilers will be revealed as you read along.
One of kickstarters of "TWD" season is the death of Carter who was played by actor Ethan Embry. Many were surprised at the turn of the premiere and the sudden appearance of the actor was still epic in any way. Showrunner Scott Gimple revealed why a sudden death needs to happen.
"That was [kind of] the point. Hopefully, it was nice to feel potential extinguished. We don't want death to feel like something to tick off on a box, so, that way when he's killed the audience feels some sort of loss, even if it's just story loss. We [also] want the impact felt of what Rick is doing and what Morgan feels for what Rick did." Gimple said from TVLine.
Aside from this, Embry also talked how much happy he was with his gory death in "The Walking Dead" series and even said that it was a "cool" experience.
"It's like in my eyes, it's going down my throat -- there's so much blood! And then I have Andy on top of me, and he's slipping in the blood on my face, and I'm screaming bloody murder. It was the coolest day that any one could ever had." Embry said according to ET Online.
ET Online also spoke with "TWD" Executive Producer Gale Anne Hurd regarding what is ahead for Rick and his group in the upcoming episode.
"In Alexandria, you still have people who are in denial about the risks that they face as you would anywhere." Hurd revealed. "There are people who want to bury their heads in the sand and believe that if you don't acknowledge that evil exists maybe you can banish it."
