'Game of Thrones' Game Update: Episode 1 'Iron from Ice' Highlights House Forrester; Gets Simultaneous Release on PS4, Xbox One, Android and iOS

The "Game of Thrones" video game is now available for all gaming platforms.

The developers of the "The Walking Dead" and "Tales from the Borderlands" just recently released their first episode of the video game adaptation of the famous HBO series "Game of Thrones." It is for free in all gaming platforms. The game company also announced the sixth and final will end the first season, which will be released next month.

"Game of Thrones" first episode is entitled "Iron from Ice," and will sell at the price of AUD $7 per episode, though Telltale is hoping that "Game of Thrones" die-hard fans or the average gamers will immediately get hooked to the game, and will get them to purchase its succeeding episodes.

TellTale did the same thing with "Tales from the Borderlands" a few weeks ago, Game Spot reported. The first episodes of the point and click adventure game will be available to all platforms, which includes the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Android, and iOS, for free. Now they are preparing themselves for the last episode entitled "The Vault of the Traveller."

With regards to this, TellTale Games reported that the sixth and final episode entitled "The Ice Dragon" for the first season of the "Game of Thrones" game will be released on Nov. 17, coinciding with its physical copy release of the video game in retail stores.

TellTale Games stated that, "That's right, 'The Ice Dragon' will be the very first Telltale Games episode to see a simultaneous day and date release on PC/Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and iOS and Android-based devices."

"Game of Thrones" first season follows the story of House Forrester from the north of Westeros. Players are then tasked to play various characters and to get them out of the way of danger.

"Game of Thrones" series stars Emilia Clarke, Natalie Dormer, and Iwan Rheon, who recently came out to support the video game and to lend their voices to their respective characters in the series.
