Despite having been caught on video, Justin Bieber denied allegations that he lost his temper during a recent visit at a Cannes restaurant.
Bieber, who was in Cannes, France to attend the NRJ Music Awards, decided to dine at a restaurant with a friend. They were still waiting for their food when something apparently set the pop star off, who stood up and tossed his chair before leaving the premises, as shown on video.
The 21-year-old singer was quick to dismiss the speculations that he was having another temper tantrum and took to Twitter to address the allegations. "No one is flipping out dude. My buddy had just told me some bad personal news," the "I'll Show You" singer posted, while adding, "Don't lie please. #IllShowYou."
The Beliebers were quick to rush on their idol's side and poured out tweets of support for the 2015 EMAs winner. They posted GIFs of chairs being thrown at windows and other more violent chair-throwing incidents, reported NY Daily News.
After retweeting a few of his fans' posts, the Canadian singer started promoting his music instead and even posted a link to his yet-to-be released album "Purpose."
The incident is not the first untoward behavior Bieber has pulled in the course of promoting his new album, and all outbursts happened overseas. During his performance in Norway, the "Sorry" singer stormed off the stage after only singing one song. Reports say that he was not happy with one fan.
In Spain, Bieber walked out of an interview when he got irritated with silly but harmless questions asked by the host. Still in the same country, the "What Do You Mean?" singer lectured the audience when they clapped off beat.
The string of European guesting and performances is a part of Bieber's promotional tour for his upcoming "Purpose" album, which is set to be released on Nov. 13 worldwide.
