It looks like there will be some partner swapping coming to "The Young and The Restless" with Adam and Sage getting closer as Sage and Nick's relationship starts falling apart. Nick and Phyllis could also reunite.
Adam and Chelsea have a good chemistry and fans love their tandem. But recent events lead to Sage and Adam getting closer, sparking rumors that a couple switch is in the works for Y&R. With the loss of Christian, Sage finds a common ground with Nick, who also lost a child with Chelsea. Additionally, Soap Shows noted that Chelsea and Nick have also started bonding.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, spoilers tease that Nick will confess to Dylan that he can't go home to Sage because seeing each other only remind them of losing their child and the tragedy they went through. Sage, meanwhile, turned to Adam who comforted her by talking about his own loss. Chelsea will see them having an intimate conversation and will ask if she is interrupting something.
CDL noted that Adam and Chelsea, who experienced a great amount of ordeal themselves, may stay strong together and committed with each other for now, but rumors are already on the fly about an upcoming trouble that could tear them apart.
Meanwhile, Joshua Morrow hints of a possible reunion between his character Nick and Phyllis, Soap Shows reported. When asked if Nick and Phyllis could renew their romance in the future, Morrow said, "I'm sure at some point they'll put Nick and Phyllis back together."
"She's a great actress and our chemistry could be really good," he added.
Phyllis helped Nick cope with Cassie's death and now with Christian's presumed death, it would be no surprise if he turned to her again. Add that to the fact that Nick is known as a woman chaser and not as faithful as he needed to be.
