Greg Rikaart, who plays Kevin Fisher in "The Young and The Restless" debuted in TNT's "Major Crimes" last night.
Rikaart plays the role of Bobby Monroe, a lawyer specializing in death penalty cases. He represents Slider in the murder trial of Alice Herrera. According to We Love Soaps, Rikaart's character in "Major Crimes" will appear in four episodes.
Greg took to Twitter to share his experience, "I had a great time moonlighting on #MajorCrimes. My character, Bobby Monroe, makes his debut in tonight's episode. Check it out!" Fans expressed their excitement to see Rikaart play a new role.
In last night's episode titled "Reality Check," Rusty met Bobby Monroe, Slider's attorney. He said Slider seems to be admire him and ask if he can come in his next interview. Bobby said it can't help the case. Later on, Bobby said he can come to the interview but in exchange, Rusty will do an interview for Bobby's vlog on death penalty. Rusty asked Bobby if he is representing Slider or his political cause. Bobby told him to wait for the interview.
The Emmy Award-winning actor has been with "The Young and The Restless" since 2013. Soap Shows, said Y&R fans can rest assured that Rikaart remains committed to stay in CBS soap opera while he guest stars in TNT's primetime drama. In addition to the daytime soap, he is known for "X-Men 2" (2003), "Four Brothers. Or Three. Wait ... Three" (2013) and "Prey for Rock & Roll" (2003). He had a recurring role in "Dawson's Creek" (2002-2003) and appeared in other TV series including "Bones" (2013) and "CSI: Miami" (2007).
Rikaart won "Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series" in Daytime Emmy for his role in Y&R and was nominated again from 2006 to 2008.
"Major Crimes" airs every Monday at 9 p.m. on TNT.
