Daniel Radcliffe will be doing magic again but not for another "Harry Potter" movie. This time he will star in the upcoming magic-centered film, "Now You See Me: Second Act," the sequel to the hit 2013 film.
The first "Now You See Me" film was a box office success despite receiving mixed reviews. It was a caper movie starring four extraordinary magicians. Radcliffe, who played one of the most amazing wizards in the famed "Harry Potter" series, has joined the cast of the upcoming movie sequel.
The trailer for the movie, "Now You See Me: Second Act" was recently released. It showed how the caper film got more exciting in its comeback, revealing scenes shot in the cities of London and Macau.
Radcliffe's appearance was shown at the last part of the trailer while he was sporting a trim facial hair with the same endearing smile he used to wear. During his scene, the group of magicians was looking at him while he was facing back and when he faced front, he amusingly and surprisingly uttered, "Ta-dah!"
It was an astonishing cameo role for the English actor who plays the son of Arthur Tressler (Michael Caine) in the movie.
Apart from the movie and television projects lined up for the actor, Radcliffe made the time to support The Trevor Project, which aims to promote awareness about teen suicide prevention. Radcliffe once said in an interview: "I have always hated anybody who is not tolerant of gay men or lesbians or bisexuals. Now I am in the very fortunate position where I can actually help or do something about it."
The actor has three movies lined up for 2016 release, including "Swiss Army Man," "Imperium," and "Now You See: Me Second Act."
"Now You See Me: Second Act" is set to hit theaters in June 2016.
