As previously reported, there have been talks suggesting that Nintendo maybe delaying the release of games like "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U because the title is being re-adapted for the so called Nintendo NX. Therefore, may Nintendo fans have become curious with this rumored new Nintendo console and possible game line up.
According to The Wall Street Journal, details of this next generation Nintendo gaming platform codenamed "NX" are being kept under a very tight lid by the company. So far the only thing that Nintendo President Satoru Iwata has said earlier about this upcoming console is that the NX would be based on "a whole new concept", which the company believes will be received well by customers worldwide. This does not confirm the rumors that the videogame console will use Google's Android operating system, which many fans have begun to assume when the company announced that they are coming up with a mobile app.
On the other hand, according to Destructoid, Capcom is considering to create titles for the "NX" although the companies response during an investors Q&A did not sound like it had already committed to do so. Capcom's reply was, " Our R&D operations are working on technologies for many types of hardware. We will consider the possibility of creating technology demonstrations and making versions of titles under development for these new platforms. At this time, we have not announced any plans for specific products or the timing of a product launch."
According to Design and Trend, the Wii U was not a very successful venture so it is most likely why the company is looking into a different approach in developing the so called NX. There are even talks suggesting that with regards to its game line up, it might have support for titles that never made it to Wii U. Nevertheless, just like controversial "The Legend of Zelda" for Wii U more announcements about this "hush, hush" console will be made in 2016.
