Kim Kardashian is expected to give birth to her second child with husband Kanye West this December, and she just announced on social media that she wanted a huge gift in return to signify her labor of love.
On Friday, Nov. 20, Kardashian took to her website to educate her female fans about the idea of "push presents" -- little thank you gifts a father gives to his wife or partner as a token of appreciation for carrying their child for nine months.
"Do you guys believe in a push present?" Kardashian asked on her website. "I never did, but all of my friends do!!! One friend got a special diamond ring she always wanted, and another friend got a new car!"
As for Kardashian, a tiny token means a diamond choker, which according to Hollywood Life, is worth $1 million.
"This pregnancy, I would love a Lorraine Schwartz diamond choker, like the ones I've worn before to the Art + Film Gala," Kardashian wrote. The 35-year-old reality star has been partial to the said jeweller, wearing a few of these bejewelled pieces in the past, as seen in the photo below.
Her husband, 38-year-old music mogul Kanye West, could clearly afford her push present. According to COED, West's estimated net worth for 2015 is at $180 million. Aside from his music empire, the college drop-out has a chain of Fatburger restaurants in Chicago, an exclusive shoe line with Louis Vuitton, and just recently, an athletic clothing line called "Yeezy" under Adidas.
West has lavished his wife with expensive gifts in the past, beginning with the $8 million 15-carat engagement ring he gave her when he proposed. According to Hollywood Take, it took $3 million to pull off his romantic proposal. West hired a 50-piece orchestra and rented the whole AT&T stadium for the special day.
In 2013, West spent $73,000 for a diamond Cartier bracelet as a Valentine's Gift for Kardashian. Also, he has gifted her with custom handpainted Hermes Birkin bags on several occasions.
Kim defended her push present choice. "We women go through an entire pregnancy carrying a baby. It only makes sense that we get something amazing to show how amazing we are," she concluded.
