In the fifth episode of "The Librarians" Season 2, titled "And the Hollow Men," the librarians get to work more as a team, but Flynn was kidnapped and the Library was dying. How did they save it?
The librarians were looking for an artifact called the Eye of Zarathustra which will lead them to a temple where the staff is hidden. They need to get the staff before Prospero to stop his evil plans. While Eve, Ezekiel, Cassandra and Stone were looking for the glass ball artifact, Flynn appeared, only to be kidnapped by a stranger who has an amnesia and a van full of pictures and stuff about the librarians. He turned out to be the Library. The spirit of the library in human form. The Library took Flynn because he needed him to bring his memories back.
The other four librarians wanted to find Flynn, of course, but the door led them to a container van where The Library apparently stayed. No Flynn though. Moriarty with a couple of goons appeared, but the librarians escaped, except for Eve, because the door had already closed. In the end, Moriarty and Eve teamed up -- Eve wanted to find Flynn, Moriarty wanted the staff. Eve can drive and Moriarty has an instrument to track them.
Back in the library, the lights had been turning off and Jenkins explained that it is dying. The spirit of the library and Flynn eventually found the temple and the staff. Just then, Eve and Moriarty appeared. The Library hold the staff and all of his memories were coming back, but he was overloading and the staff was too powerful. Moriarty suggested that one of them should come to help the Library, until Flynn figured it should be Moriarty because he is fictional.
The Library came out alive. Moriarty got the staff though and who knows what evil Prospero would bring next.
Flynn got emotional when the spirit of the library's human form disintegrate as the library is healed. He has so many questions. When he was about to leave, Eve caught up with him and she tried to talk him out of running away. She explained that they have a team now. Flynn was decided to hunt down Prospero though.
