There are multiple villains involved in various plots which cause urgent issues for the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", therefore in Season 3, the Secret Warriors recruitment mission headed by Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) is just observing. Even with the purpose of the Kree monolith kidnapping, Lash, the circus of new Hydra, inhuman murdering, and the shady A.T.C.U., Daisy opted to operate in the background quietly gaining the jumpstart, with the main aspects starting to fall into place.
It would seem that the character of Secret Warrior will be joining the cast of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." in season 3, bringing more thrilling action. Moreover, Yo Yo Rodriguez (Slingshot) is speculated to cast in an ABC/Marvel TV series. Slingshot is said to be played by the USA co-star.
The filming of this Marvel/ABC Series will begin in January 2016. Slingshot is speculated to be played by McFarland, USA costar Natalia Cordova-Buckley. In the World of Marvel Comics, Slingshot is a Secret Warrior who has superhuman speed which lets her anchor to the spot she sped from and bounce back to the same location, much like how a slingshot works.
"That Hashtag Show" YouTube channel was the one responsible for spilling the beans about Slingshot, and their partner website "Point of Geeks." Based on the video, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." was taking steps to promote diversity on the show and cast a strong Latino character. "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." may size up Joey Gutierrez (Juan Pablo Raba) and Lincoln Campbell (Luke Mitchell) as likely join the Secret Warriors team in the current season, although there are some more spots to fill-in and a lot of episodes to turn, as well as new possibilities to explore.
If Slingshot will be joining the Secret Warrior in the series, it would imply that "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." producers are coming out good gradually with the stronger inhuman focus viewers have wanted for in the series' season 3.
