'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Spoilers from the Set: Carice Van Houten 'Melisandre' Shares Exclusive Behind the Scenes Footages; Theon Greyjoy Updates [WATCH]

Four months before "Game of Thrones" season 6 debuts, HBO has cleverly confirmed that Jon Snow is alive. The only mystery shrouding the fan-favorite character is how is he alive. The leading fan theory that answers this question lies on actress Carice Van Houten's character, Lady Melisandre. Now, the actress has confirmed that she is indeed shooting in Belfast, the location for The Wall where Jon Snow was last seen.

Van Houten shared snaps of the film set on her Twitter account.

"Greetings from season 6," the 39-year-old actress wrote in the caption of one picture. The photo shows a bonfire scene, alluding to her character's affinity to the "Lord of Light."

In the series, Melisandre is also known as the Red Priestess, a prophetess for the Lord of Light. She is believed to have powers that can resurrect people from the dead.

Van Houten also took a 20-second video of herself walking through a rainy Belfast. "Off to set," she wrote.

Her red costume is visible in the footage. This confirms that the actress is indeed shooting a heavily-guarded scene for the upcoming season 6, as previously reported.

Meanwhile, Watchers on the Wall also posted an unofficial behind-the-scenes footage from Northern Ireland, where "GoT" is reportedly filming scenes with the Greyjoys. A fan has flown his drone over the location, which shows the extensive film set of the Ironborn Islands where Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) is from.

The footage pans to show several actors rowing inside medieval-looking boats, which gives out a hint that a water scene will be included in the upcoming season. At the 1:38 mark, a group of actors in full costumes can be seen, which WOTW reported could be a battle scene. The fansite added that actor Allen has been spotted on the set and was part of the scene. Did Theon Greyjoy escape from the clutches of Ramsay Bolton and return to his home on season 6?

"Game of Thrones" season 6 premieres in April 2016. Watch the scenic video below:
