‘Assassin's Creed Chronicles’ Update: Trilogy to be Completed in Early 2016, Release Dates Confirmed for India and Russia Games

"Assassin's Creed Chronicles" developer announced early this year that the game will be released in trilogy and Ubisoft is not backing out on that promise.

When the Chinese version of "Assassin's Creed Chronicles" received mixed reviews from gamers, many have wondered whether the trilogy plan would push through, Stuff reports. However, Ubisoft revealed on Dec. 8 that it is keeping its word of providing fans with the trilogy it promised earlier this year.

The game developer is planning on a January and February release of the second and third parts of the "Assassin's Creed Chronicles." It also intends to distribute the trilogy in a different system or platform many others could experience playing the game.

Apart from the trilogy plans, Ubisoft will also make "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India" available starting Jan. 12, 2016, reported Comics Alliance. The main character of the game will be based on Arbaaz Mir, which is the main character of the graphic novel "Assassin's Creed: Brahman" released in 2013 and created by Brendan Fletcher, Karl Kerschl and Cameron Stewart.

The story of the game starts two years following the events in the comic book. Mir will try to recover an artifact which was stolen amidst the backdrop of a country bound by colonialism. Evil Templar knights may also appear in the story.

Add to the Indian version, Ubisoft is also releasing "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia" on Feb. 9 next year. The game will have Nikolai Orelov as the main character, who is based on the comic book "The Chain" and "The Fall" also created by Stewart and Kerschl.

The Russian version will be set in 1917 Russia where Nikolai will find it hard to push through with his plans of leaving his Assassin life for a regular day job.

Ubisoft is also set to offer "Assassin's Creed Chronicles" in different platforms such as on mobile, PS4, PC and Xbox One.
