The World Boxing Champion, Manny Pacquiao will be back on the boxing ring as confirmed by Bob Arum with The Times at MGM Grand in Las Vegas on April 9.
L.A. Times reports that there are many speculations that Pacman will do the fight with World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Timothy Bradley for the third time.
It was also reported that the announcement of Pacquiao-Bradley fight will be on Puerto Rico, Mexico through TruTV broadcast which will feature Felix Verdejo, the country's gifted fighter. Bradley, stands as the analyst in the fight broadcast will be there. Crawford was invited as well on the event for the announcement, said Bradley's manager, Cameron Dunkin.
According to Bradley's wife and manager, Monica Bradley, there are no concrete details yet but there were ongoing meetings between Bradley's camp and Top Rank President, Todd duBoef.
Latest with Bradley, his first bout under new mentor Teddy Atlas, he showed an impressive fight throwing several blows with Brandon Rios last Nov. 7 in Las Vegas.
"With a new trainer, it'll be a whole different Tim Bradley. Teddy has done so much for Tim, people might think they've seen the best Tim Bradley. They haven't yet." Monica Bradley claimed.
On the other hand, Pacquiao hasn't pushed through any match since the May 2 fight with Floyd Mayweather - who won through unanimous decision and lost on the so-called Fight of the Century. This bout has been one of the most controversial fights due to Manny's shoulder injury.
Since Philippine election is coming, Arum stated that Manny Pacquiao has been eyeing a position in the Senate and decided to run on the senatorial race and claimed that April 9 will be his last and final fight. However, Manny was once quoted that he wanted another fight with Floyd Mayweather.
Recently, due to complex talks with Pacquiao, fight with Amir Khan will be delayed.
