"Once Upon a Time" season 5B will kick off with its 100th episode, where many previous characters will make an appearance. However, fans should be ready to see more of the Underworld after Hook died.
In a twisted turn of events, "Once Upon a Time" season 5 winter finale left viewers shocked when fan-favorite, Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) died. The only way Emma (Jennifer Morrison) could take the darkness out of his beloved Hook was to kill him and that is exactly what she did. However, if viewers think Emma would leave things as they are, they could not be any more wrong.
In "Once Upon a Time" season 5B, Emma will start her journey to the Underworld to bring Hook back to Storybrooke and her friends and family will help her, INQUISTR reported. With the thought of the word Underworld, will viewers see another Disney villain in the form of Hades?
Meanwhile, since the characters will be entering Hell, which is actually Storybrooke only made more evil and creepy, it will not be surprising that dead characters will be appearing as well. It was earlier reported that Cora (Barbara Hershey), Regina's (Lana Parrilla) mother, and Pan (Robbie Kay), Mr. Gold's (Robert Carlyle) father will set foot in Storybrooke.
In the video preview for "Once Upon a Time" 100th episode, Cora and Peter Pan are featured, perhaps as spirits, who need to manifest to Regina and Mr. Gold so that the two could finally have the closure they needed.
In addition, season 5B of the ABC series will also highlight Regina again. The first half was more Emma-centric that Regina's character took the backseat but creators have confirmed that the former Evil Queen will be given some more important scenes again.
A lot will happen when the series comes back in spring including a trip back to Oz where Regina sent back her sister Zelena (Rebecca Madder), an older Dorothy Gale will battle the Wicked Witch, and a pregnant Belle (Emilie de Ravine) will be reunited with Mr. Gold.
"Once Upon a Time" season 5B will premiere on March 6 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
