More Cloud Strife DLC News and Other Content To Be Announced Next Week on Nintendo's December Presentation

As previously reported, Japanese Game Designer Masahiro Sakurai, the creator of "Super Smash Bros." has discussed the importance of post launch updates while speaking from a gamer's perspective.

After a quite insightful explanation of how crucial it is for developers to constantly patch games, he reportedly has assured that more news about Cloud Strife's arrival in "Super Smash Bros." will be revealed in the Nintendo Direct that will be specially dedicated to the hit fighting game. According to Famitsu, after that interview he said, "I'll explain more in the special December presentation."

Therefore, the question now has shifted to when the said presentation will happen. Nintendo of America has announced via Twitter, that the December presentation dedicated to "Super Smash Bros." will be on Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. PT on the official Nintendo Website. As written on the website, the final video presentation dedicated to Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U will be a worldwide broadcast.

Not only will rumors about Cloud Strife and the Midgar background be clarified but fans will finally get more insights on the said downloadable contents such as the Chocobo costumes for Mii Fighters. As previously reported, there are also rumors suggesting that Shovel Knight from the 2D game of the same name will also come to "Super Smash Bros." Shovel Knight emerged to be one of the seven highly voted characters in the fighter ballot that ended in Oct. 3.

According to Master Herald, rumors of Shovel Knight coming to the brawl game surfaced after an Amiibo Shovel Knight figurine was released. The rest of the characters who have been voted the most in the Fighter Ballot are Dixie Kong and King R. Rool from "Donkey Kong Country," Isaac from "Golden Sun," Inkling from "Splatoon," Ridley from "Metroid," Shovel Knight from "Shovel Knight," and Professor Layton from "Professor Layton."

"Super Smash Bros." is now available on Wii U and 3DS.
