DROID Turbo 2 and LG Flex 2: Droid Turbo 2 Can be Personalized, But LG Flex 2 Has Self-Healing Material to Fix Scratches

LG Flex 2 was released last February, but up until now, it is still being challenged. The latest phone being near to its specs and features is Motorola's shatterproof DROID Turbo 2. Without further delay, here is a comparison between the two great phones.

Motorola DROID Turbo 2 design wise, looks like an ordinary Android phone. The metal frame does not add much on its looks. However, Motorola does over a Moto Maker on their website where one can have a thousand options to have a unique and personalized version of the DROID Turbo 2.

LG G Flex 2, on the other hand, offers a uniquely curved body and screen, but it is made out of plastic. The back panel is said to be coated with a self-healing material that fixes minor scratches. The Flex 2 comes in Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red, GSM Arena reported.

The DROID Turbo 2 has a 5.4-inch AMOLED 1440 x 2560 resolution display screen that offers 540 ppi and is equipped with the Shatter Shield technology, which has been proven not to crack when dropped. The LG Flex 2 on the other hand, offers a 5.5-inch curved P-OLD screen that displays 1080 x 1920 pixels and gives a 403 ppi density.

Both phones are similarly equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdagon 810 processor clocking at 1.5 GHz and at 2 GHz. The chip comes with an Adreno 430 GPU. Memory for the DROID Turbo 2 is at 3GB and can support up to 200GB for external storage, while the LG G Flex 2 has a 2 GB and 3 GB version, as well as gives its users up to 128 GB of external storage.

Motorola DROID Turbo 2's 21-megapixel camera is ranked #3 by DxOMark; however, it has not tested the LG G Flex 2 yet. The Motorola DROID Turbo 2 has an unlocked price of $624, while the LG G Flex 2 is offered with a two year contract for $99.
