Nintendo Direct This December Announces Cloud Strife Arriving Today, Two More Character DLCs Coming in February

The most awaited Nintendo presentation that was believed to answer all burning question about "Super Smash Bros." especially the upcoming Cloud Strife DLC finally happened today.

According to GameSpot, it was an insightful 35-minute broadcast that delivered a handful of announcements. One of the announcements is that Corrin from "Fire Emblem" will be joining "Super Smash Bros." as another DLC and he is expected to arrive in February 2016 for Wii U and 3DS.

But the much anticipated announcement was the one made for "Final Fantasy's" Cloud Strife, whose arrival to "Super Smash Bros." has been causing so much hype since he was announced in November. And fans are glad to know that as previously speculated, Cloud Strife and his Midgar Themed Stage is finally available for purchase.

Furthermore, the hit Nintendo brawl will not be adding anymore characters after Bayonetta. According to the Verge, Bayonetta from the game of the same name has been announced to be the final character DLC. Like Corrin from "Fire Emblem," she is expected to arrive in February 2016. Bayonetta is announced to come with her original and Bayonetta 2 costumes along with a special red-hued "Jeanne" color version. The pack will be available at $5.99 on Wii U or Nintendo 3DS if purchased individually but will only cost $6.99 if purchased for both platforms. Bayonetta was one of the most popular choices in the fighter ballot that ended on Oct. 3.

The last "Super Smash Bros."-dedicated Nintendo Direct was presented by "Super Smash Bros." director Masahiro Sakurai.

According to GameSpot, aside from the three character DLCs Nintendo announced more costume DLCs that will include Geno (Super Mario RPG), Chocobo Hat (Final Fantasy), Bionic Armor, Takamaru (game unreleased in the U.S.), Ashley (Wario Ware), Gil (Tower of Druaga) and Tails and Knuckles (Sonic).
