DC Comics Gives Another Huge Change For ‘Batman’ And ‘Superman’

Comic book lovers for DC's franchises on "Batman and Superman" should be expecting another big change coming March 2016. Only this time they both will be donning their old costumes. Superman will also be having his old powers back.

IGN reports that leaks of the changes were sourced from the solicitations for Superman #50 and Batman #50 all of which will be shipped in March for "Batman and Superman." Greg Capullo did the cover for Batman #50 while John Romita, Jr. did Superman #50's cover.

"Batman and Superman" were just two among a handful of heroes that underwent huge changes for the summer relaunch of "DC You." Batman's character took its old form on the storyline of the "Endgame" incidents where Bruce Wayne doesn't remember his past while Jim Gordon was officially sanctioned to become the heavily armored Batman. Additional details states that the two will be working together in the battle against Mr. Bloom. Thanks to Greg Capullo and Scott Snyder were the ones that worked on his character.

As for the special issue of Superman #50 where solicit text states that the Man of Steel will restore back to full power as he fights his arch enemy. He also meets the pre-Flashpoint Kal-El as Superman meets another man that's super.

Kotaku says that the immense changes made on "Batman and Superman" should not come as a surprise. The report clearly states that a number of comics show the Man of Steel actually losing a major part of his powers and his secret identity is being made known to the world. However it is still unclear whether or not Superman will get back all his powers again including his identity. The events that readers should really keep an eye on are how Gordon is going to turn up with his new role and how the public will react knowing that Clark Kent and Superman are both one and the same.
