The latest trailer for the upcoming game from Blizzard, "Overwatch" is making its way to the big screens.
"Overwatch" is described as a futuristic co-op shooter that shows conflict among "a diverse cast of soldiers, scientists, adventurers, and oddities against each other in an epic, globe-spanning conflict." Moreover, it was said that if you are in theaters to watch "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" there is a chance that you might catch the cinematic trailer of the "Overwatch" before the feature presentation begins.
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, this game that is set to be released in Spring 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will be shown in a trailer called "We are Overwatch" in select theaters. See the one-minute theatrical teaser for "Overwatch" here:
In a previous report, Game Director Jeff Kaplan has revealed that while "Overwatch" is not free-to-play, additional content will come to "Overwatch" post launch as free updates and not as DLCs. This decision is more likely a response to community requests that followed after the game was confirmed that it will not be released as a free-to-play title. To know that additional content will be free, it is surely good news for the fans of this online shooter from Blizzard.
In the meantime, according to Polygon, "We Are Overwatch" plays to showcase a medley of scenes with "Overwatch" heroes protecting ordinary citizens of Earth. And take note, it is a theatrical trailer of the game and there should not be misunderstood that the game title has been given a movie adaptation, although that may not be impossible in the future as with the case of "Warcraft."
The beta for "Overwatch" which launched in October has gone into its Holiday break. According to Polygon, the beta will resume in January with new progression system.
