‘Tokyo Ghoul’ News: Season 3 Updates, New Merchandise, and Manga Review

Fans of "Tokyo Ghoul" have been patiently waiting for any updates for season 3. But then there has been no official announcement as to when will be the exact premiere date.

However, there are a handful of things to be excited about. First, new "Tokyo Ghoul" inspired merchandise have been recently released. Second, the 3rd chapter of the manga series has already been released. As reported by Fandom Post, the manga is rated B+ for its content and B- for its art.

According to Crossmap, there are no signs that "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 is already green lit. While the publishing and creator are mum about any development, fans could divert their attention to "Tokyo Ghoul Pop! Figures."

Report says that the Funko manufacturing company has recently released "2 'Tokyo Ghoul' vinyl figures, one-eyed Ken Kaneki and Touka Kirishima." Aside from those specific figurines, they also have the one-eyed Ken Kaneki that glows in the dark. Although Ken Kaneki glow-in-the-dark figurine is a 'Hot Topic Exclusive," the item is "currently being offered at 20% less than list price - from $12.50 to a flat $10."

For those who don't like to collect these action-figures, there are other items that they can also buy. For example, ladies might like the "Tokyo Ghoul" inspired charm watch and Frilly umbrella. According to Anime News Network, SuperGroupies has created new accessories that are inspired by the Sui Ishida's manga and anime.

ANN says the "Ken Kaneki watch is on a chain band with clasps that can be switched out for a red and black beaded version or both can be linked together to wrap around the wrist multiple times. The chain band has several metal charms, like a book cover, Kaneki's mask, and a tea cup." The SRP of the watch is 14,904 yen or about US$123.

The Frilly umbrella is obviously a "Gourmet" ghoul Shū Tsukiyama inspired. As noted, "the red and dark blue striped material is based on one of the character's business suits while the crescent moon emblem represents Tsukiyama's mask and the forks his status as a "Gourmet"." This frilly umbrella is sold for 7,344 yen or about US$61.
