'Final Fantasy XV' Release Date Possibly Leaked by Amazon Japan

Amazon does it again and this time it has sparked rumors on the release date of "Final Fantasy XV."

Just recently, the alleged "leaked" date for Kingdom Hearts 3 on an Amazon listing has caused some hullabaloo on the Internet. While many fans already know to treat news like this with caution and a grain of salt, some might still believe it could be true as the title has been announced to release sometime 2016.

Another listing has caught the attention of very excited fans of upcoming game "Final Fantasy XV." According to Game Reactor, Amazon Japan seemed to have slipped by putting the June 1, 2016 as the release date for the highly anticipated RPG.

Again, this should be treated with a little skepticism. In two days' time, the release date has changed from June 1 to November 30, 2016. While Game Reactor still has the screenshot showing the original date the listing had, when you head over to Amazon Japan, you will now see the new date. The only thing unchanged is the price of ¥ 18,000 or about $150 and pre-orders are accepted, according to the listing.

As previously reported, "Final Fantasy XV" is officially on pre-beta state, with its developers claiming that it is playable for start to finish. The developer have also announced that development is coming along as planned and it only needs a few more polishing especially in terms of optimization and memory-related adjustments. Square Enix is also reported to be preparing to launch the title in 2016.

In addition, there have been rumors that a PC version is now being considered by "Final Fantasy XV" developers after game's programmer Satoshi Kitade has written in forums that the current build already runs on Windows PC. However, this does not confirm anything and at the moment, "Final Fantasy XV" is confirmed to be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox one only.
