Another Duggar family member is creating a buzz and that is Joseph Duggar. It has been reported that the Duggar family teamed up with the Bates family for Christmas celebration and that started the rumors about Josh getting closer to Carlin Bates.
According to the Inquisitr, a lot of fans are wondering if the said family teamed up is because of a future Duggar-Bates courtship. In one of the videos taken during the celebration, Joseph was seen getting "cozy" with Carlin.
Amy Duggar King was the one who posted the video of the Duggars and the Bates' playing a game of Jenga. However, it was not the game that got the attention of the fans, instead it was the background which includes the sight of Joseph and Carlin. A lot of the fans quickly noticed how extremely close the two are. It started different speculations given the conservative outlook of the Duggars when it comes to dating and courtship.
It can be seen in the video that Joseph and Carlin where sitting closely next to each other in a coach that is too big for the two of them. Aside from that Carlin was also wearing a baseball cap that seems to belong to Joseph. Amy then realized that her videos started speculations and rumors about Joseph and Carlin that is why she opted to delete it on her Instagram page.
Other fans believe that Carlin is way younger than Joseph for them to get involve. Age may not be a big factor, but the fans also pointed out that Carlin is too young to be in any serious relationship. It is also possible that Joseph is trying to get close to Carlin so that when she reaches the right age then it is already okay for him to court her. Both the Duggars and Bates did not address the rumors involving Joseph and Carlin.
