"The Taken King" Destiny is one of the highly anticipated games and fans had been looking forward to more details and updates about it. With that, fans will be treated with some economy boosts to start the new year in style.
"Destiny" fans that are ready to log in at the right time will be able to avail of said surprises from the game. Bungie intends to reward gamers with three items on January which will be very useful and will upgrade their gear.
It is confirmed by community manager David Dague that on January 7, there will 15 Strange Coins and 15 Motes of Light that will be given to every "Destiny" player for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 and PS3. Said treats is a form of online currency that can be used to buy some items on the online store of "Destiny" called the Tower, Bungie News announced.
"Think of it as a gift card you can use in the Tower, where the stores are always open and there is a never a line," Dague said. "Buy something nice from Xûr with those Coins, but don’t spend all your Motes to upgrade one item. See the Postmaster for your packages when the time comes – you may have to clear your backlog for them to appear."
The new "Destiny" freebies will be available on schedule through the usual update. Aside from the Strange Coins and Motes of Light, there will be another exclusive item that will be delivered to the players next month.
Gamers who will play the epic space shooter for the dates in between January 7 and 10, a mystery emblem will be added to their inventory to help them save their troubles during the game. What that item is remains a secret and Bungie will be revealing that soon.
"Should you receive The Taken King as a gift in the days to come, save your fight with Oryx for later," Dague said giving an advice to those who have already received a copy of the game, according to Express UK. "This limited time event is a great way to join the party and earn yourself some powerful gear that will be waiting for you when you need it. Racing is also fun, more importantly. At least we think so."
