‘Justice League Part One' Movie Spoilers: Batman to Lead The Justice League; Actor Ben Affleck Weighs in on Possibility

Is Batman going to be the leader of DC superheroes in "Justice League: Part One"? Ben Affleck, who will play the role of the Caped Crusader, weighs in on the possibility.

The DC Universe is kicking off a slew of DC films with "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" to be followed by "Wonder Woman." The third movie set to be released is "Justice League: Part One" and with the group of superheroes teaming up to save the world, someone would definitely have to lead them.

Batman is the top contender for the job. After all, in the animated version, the Caped Crusader leads the pack of superheroes. Affleck, the star set to reprise his role in the "Justice League" films, talked about this possibility in an interview, Cinema Blend reported.

According to the Oscar winner, Batman is indeed a competent leader purely because of his understanding for humanity, considering he is a hero without superpowers.

"Batman represents human beings, mortal men. In a world of Flashes and Aquamen and Supermen, there needs to be that guy. It's interesting that he became the leader of the Justice League in the books - I'm not sure how that will play out here - but his humanity is also an asset," the 43-year-old actor stated.

Although Superman (Henry Cavill) is a far more endearing DC superhero, the League could not exactly dub him the leader since he is an alien. It's something a lot of humans might not approve. At least with Batman, he could be a link between the ordinary human beings and the superheroes.

DC and Warner Brothers are teaming up for not one, not two, but numerous films about the beloved DC superheroes. The two companies are working overtime to finally bring to the big screen the characters people have grown to love.

"Justice League: Part One" will include other DC superheroes, Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), the Flash (Ezra Miller), and Black Canary.
