"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has just been launched in cinemas and there is already news about what moviegoers should anticipate in the next episode of the trilogy.
The entire crew of "Star Wars" Episode 8 is thrilled to work on the next film, particularly since they have spent the previous year getting ready for it. They will start filming for the Episode 8 this month and the film itself is set for release on May 26, 2017.
According to producer Kathleen Kennedy, "We're excited to get back together. We start shooting Episode VIII in January. We've been prepping the movie for the last year and (writer-and-director) Rian Johnson has been doing an amazing job."
In the previous report of Realty Today, "Kennedy also explained that they have not yet outlined every single detail, although everyone in the "Star Wars Episode VIII" is discussing and working hard together to conceptualize the film. She said that the fans will surely see that the production has moved forward with the movie."
Rian Johnson, will direct Episode 8, and he himself verified this detail via Twitter post. Johnson is famous for directing the film, "Looper."
Episode 8 will pick up from what Episode 7 left off. Kylo Ren will get his training with Snoke done and Finn will be in a state of recovery. One of the most anticipated scenes will be the fate of Luke and Rey Skywalker. Fans have been left hanging whether Luke will teach her or if he will just take Darth Vader's lightsaber.
There is no official title for the Episode 8 yet. What we already know is that the next episode includes, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega and Daisy Ridley. Other cast speculated to be in the film are Benicio Del Toro and Andy Serkis.
