Will 'Crackdown 3' Only Launch As Xbox One Multiplayer Gameplay?

'Crackdown 3' was previously announced to be released this year with a multiplayer gameplay, however, the game developer didn't clarify whether or not the single player will be arriving soon. There may be a possibility that there will be no single player gameplay to expect from this game at all.

Reagent Games, the British game developing team, behind the upcoming sansbox-style third-person shooter video game for Xbox One, has not stated anything regarding the possibility of having the single playing gameplay for this one.

What the shooting super players could expect from Microsoft's latest game 'Crackdown 3' is that it will be enjoyed in a multiplayer gaming. One report stated, "Microsoft and Cloudgine have not yet responded to requests for clarification for a possible release date for the single player mode."

Based from the gaming development, usually a shooting game like 'Crackdown 3' usually starts as a single player. However, the launching was somewhat different from the usual release that other game developing and publishing teams do.

There are different speculations and theories from the fans around. According to some, this might be due to the multiplayer mode's use of Microsoft's Azure cloud servers which "offer a fully destructible open world city, which has shifted the focus of the developer's resources towards multiplayer over single player."

Another one said, "A single player mode takes less procedural work - writing, individual NPC design and the like - and so requires more hands-on manpower" compared to just plainly set the game as a multiplayer like the one scheduled for release this summer.

He also pointed out that the multiplayer mode itself is built around the cloud destruction which is somewhat similar to how the GTA Online's playground of a city is created. "There are tonnes of interaction but far less specific focus on story and bespoke designs," he added.

'Crackdown 3' will be released exclusively in Xbox One. The game is developed by Reagent Games under Microsoft as its publisher. Fans should expect its arrival this coming summer 2016.
