LG G5 Specs, Features, Release Date Reveals Insane 4K Display, Eye Scanner, And A Magic Slot

LG will be launching a new smartphone model this year. It's the LG G5 which created hype since last year. According to its features and specs, it has a 4K display and even an eye scanner.

Apple's iPhone might be the most influential phone models around the world, however, who would think that you can add an eye scanner feature to a phone like the LG G5. Based from the described features of the said model, it has a 5.6-inches QHD display with a flexible touchscreen, a metal unibody design. It was also rumored that the G5 will also have the Snapdragon 820 SoC.

In terms of display, it will have around 3,840 x 2,160 which means it's already a 4K display. If all the mobile companies will try to switch their flagships for 4K displays, this will be the first one to have that this year.

Furthermore, it will also have a Snapdragon 820 chipset, metal body work, an IR blaster, microSD support, USB Type-C slot, and 3GB of RAM. It will be smaller than the last year's G4 model, yet, it's the most powerful device LG has to offer for 2016. For the microSD support, there was something they call "Magic Slot" but it wasn't clearly discussed to what is it really like and how it functions.

Another interesting fact about the LG G5 is the eye scanning feature installed to the phone. One report stated, "If new rumors are to be believed, the LG G5 could be one of the most secure smartphones ever released. However, rather than using a fingerprint scanner like the iPhone 6s and Samsung Galaxy S6, the LG G5 may use your eyes."

According to some rumors, LG was working with a South Korean-based technology company which specializes on eye-scanning technology. IRIENCE will be providing the eye-scanning feature for LG G5 which can actually do from a distance of 50cm.

If this will be true, this will be the first phone to have such feature and it will be considered as one of the most powerful phone just seeing its features. Try to look at the processor, storage and RAM of the LG G5 [ powered by Snapdragon 820 processor;s upgraded X12 LTE modern offers]:
