In a previous report, Bethesda has admitted that there will be not "Elders Scrolls 6" to come out anytime soon. Moreover, the company has admitted to have shifted all focus on the recently released "Fallout 4." At the moment, fans can pretty much say that Bethesda is concentrated on building DLCs, delivering game improvements, aftersales support for the post-apocalyptic-themed title.
This does not mean that Bethesda has completely forgotten one of their bestselling adventure series "The Elder Scrolls," even if it has already been at least four years since the hugely successful hit "The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim" was launched. For sure Bethesda is aware that fans are hungry for the next "The Elder Scrolls" installment. But as what Bethesda VP or PR Pete Hines has told Telegraph, their approach to releasing games is different from others.
Hines said, "We do smaller stuff, we don't publish to scale, we try to publish to quality. Make sure everything we do is noteworthy. Our approach to that hasn't differed. Here and there we might change our approach to how it's presented but we've still stuck to who we are."
So now that most of fans know that Bethesda Games Studio is not rushing development and release of the next "Elder Scrolls." Then perhaps the company can also take the time to consider what fans hope the "Elder Scrolls 6" or "Skyrim 2" would be with respect to improvements from the previous titles. Although it is safe not to assume the next title would be a direct sequel to 'Skyrim 2', it would be nice for fans to see "Elder Scrolls 6" take inspiration from "Fallout 4's" expansive mechanics and various types of weapons, according to Master Herald.
This doesn't necessarily mean that the next title should copy the entire "Fallout 4" concept but maybe at least adapt the battle style that would make their fans think that they are truly absorbed in battle. According to the publication, battle styles have always been a shortcoming for most "Elder Scrolls" titles despite its massive success. With the richness of "The Elder Scrolls" stories and a more dynamic battle style the "Skyrim" sequel is surely going to be very explosive.
