'Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance' Finally Coming to NVIDIA SHIELD

NVIDIA SHIELD, the 4K streaming, advanced gaming, and Android TV box, from NVIDIA is getting something exciting besides getting upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

NVIDIA stated in their official blog site, "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance" and new content are coming to the Android TV Box. Finally, SHIELD owners can control Raiden, a half-man and half-machine, in superb 4K graphics, style and lightning-speed gameplay.

"Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance," a Hack and Slash (HnS) video game developed by PlatinumGames and produced by Kojima Productions, was initially created for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. The announcement that it is coming to the NVIDIA SHIELD was made at CES 2016, in Las Vegas. The game will be launched on NVIDIA SHIELD this Jan. 7.

As written on the NVIDIA Blog, "Revengeance" is "a fantastic story set in the Metal Gear universe complements the hit game's non-stop action." Further said in the blog, "With cyborg technology now the norm, you'll battle rival private military companies to subdue the war economy, stabilize regions, save lives and gain peace, all while leading a path for Raiden to resolve his troublesome past."

Moreover, along with "Metal Gear" and the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update that are coming to Nvidia's media streaming device sometime in the near future, NVIDIA announced that it will be improving the box's start up process which included decreasing the number of steps necessary to launch a game. The company then promises to "support SHIELD with industry-leading software upgrades." The company also expressed confidence that with SHIELD, users are guaranteed access to infinite amount of content that has the best and the highest resolution.

On the other hand, "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance" has a review score of 8, according to GameSpot. The online site's review of the Konami game then states that, "fans of the Metal Gear series and intelligent hack-and-slash games should not pass up a chance to play it."
