"Outlander" stars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan made fans fall in love many times which will continue in Season 2. The chemistry of the two stars on-screen is very obvious and fans will surely love to see them fall in love off-screen.
Reports state that if the two are in love in real life, they are merely coy about it. Apparently, they are great friends and they get along well with each other. As more promotion of the series is coming out, fans are more eager to see Balfe and Heughan fall in love off-camera, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
“Their passion comes from genuine, mature love, and we love them,” MTV described Claire and Jamie Fraser who were named as the best TV Couple of 2015. Because of their ease around each other and the genuine love that we can see in them, many fans believe that they might have romantic feelings for each other and are secretly seeing each other off-camera.
Fans have observed the closeness of Balfe and Heughan in Twitter wherein Balfe would retweet or respond to the posts of Heughan. As for Heughan, he doesn't retweet the posts of Balfe but he would share their photos on his account.
Meanwhile, Heughan revealed how he prepared himself for his role in "Outlander" to make sure that he stays fit and he does that by keeping his equipment on the set.
“So we built a gym in the studio, and at first it was really basic,” Heughan said according to Box Magazine. “We had one bar, a set of plates, a TRX and I think a rower. That’s all we had, and I was on my own in there. I just smashed it out every evening after work.”
He also gets ready for action scenes like sword fighting and other scenes that may appear tiring for viewers but Heughan says his training regime makes it easy.
“Any of the physical stuff we do on set, a lot of the sword-fighting, I just feel very agile and strong and I don’t feel I’m ever challenged,” he added. “And I think that’s definitely down to the conditioning that we do and a lot of long hours.”
Aside from action scenes, he also needs to tone his body for love scenes with partner Caitriona Balfe which apparently paid off since they are named as the "Sexiest Scenes of 2015," Inquisitr reported.
"Outlander" Season 2 is set to air in the spring of 2016.
