Celebrity Real Estate: See How Jessica Alba Spends 'Normal Life' in Her Rustic LA Home

Jessica Alba may be many things to many people. She juggles being an actress, entrepreneur and author as three of her many job descriptions. Inside her home, however, Alba insists that she's simply a wife and a mother.

In its latest issue out in February, Better Homes and Gardens features Alba's Los Angeles home. It is surprisingly normal and cozy, reflective of the actress' laidback personality.

The house incorporates a rustic yet modern style, with earthy accents in wood and greens. Known to be an environmentalist, Alba placed a vertical garden in one wall in the patio, where she grows a variety of succulents.

The living room is painted in warm white, and splashes of greens and blues can be seen in items such as pillows and throws. An organic driftwood table takes center stage in the room, positioned across the tiled fireplace in black and white.

Another favorite feature is her outdoor kitchen, painted in light blue and features a tiled counter with a wooden countertop.

The master bedroom takes on a neutral palette, accented by dark wood furniture. In 2014, Alba renovated this bedroom with the help of MyDomaine.

"It was like everything that didn't have a place or fit elsewhere in the house ended up here," the actress recounted of the first time they moved to the house. "After a while, we just wanted the room to feel airy, thoughtful, and chill."

Creative director Mat Sanders brought in warm elements to the bedroom, such as the Calvin Klein queen post bed, a Marrakech tray table from Pottery Barn, and a plantation chair from One Kings Lane. They also incorporated pieces from Alba's travels and personal antique pieces.

"A great bedroom is functional, comfortable, and peaceful. At the end of the day, it's a room where you're meant to be sleeping, so it's important to feel like you can just turn off," Alba shared.

The "Sin City" actress shares her cozy LA home with her husband Cash Warren, their two daughters, and their dogs.
