DC comics fans, are you ready for the latest rumors about the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie? Recent spoiler news indicate that Wonder Woman will be fighting the villain Doomsday.
The latest movie trailer for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" showed a quick snap of Wonder Woman holding her sword and shield, seemingly in the middle of a battle. According to Heroic Hollywood, the warrior princess was actually fighting off Doomsday. The site also claimed that during the mega fight with Doomsday, "Wonder Woman draws that awesome sword of hers, swings it at Doomsday and manages to chop off the hand of the beast!" Heroic Hollywood added that the battle between the two DC characters did not end there, given that Doomsday managed to grow a Bone Blade where his hand used to be. The fight between the two then continues.
And while the idea of Doomsday as a super villain in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is not new, states Cinema Blend, it is still a mystery as to how he came to life in the movie. Many fans speculated that Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor somehow obtained a Kryptonian DNA from the corpse of Zod to create the monster. This theory seemed plausible given that a quick scene of Zod in a body bag was shown in the movie trailer.
The site also mentioned the scene in the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer wherein Gal Gadot's Woman Woman was knocked back during a fight could possibly mean that she was battling Doomsday. CinemaBlend commented that only something powerful could have done that. And if it's not Kal-El or Superman, then it could probably be a supervillain.
Cinema Blend added further speculations that Luthor and Doomsday will eventually bring three superheroes together. The site explained, "Lex Luthor, and the eventual presence of Doomsday, likely will be the factors that force Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gadot) to be colleagues, since the "v" in the title signifies that they'll begin the movie as rivals. It's possible that the appearance of Doomsday leads to disastrous events for Superman. In case you didn't know, the hulking creature actually "killed" the Man of Steel once. Would they let him do it again on screen?"
Movie fans will have to wait until the film is released to confirm whether this is true. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is expected to hit the big screen on March 25, 2016.
