"Mortal Kombat X" fans will be definitely happy with this news, as their favorite game will be getting new playable characters by DLC downloadable content. These characters could be fighters from previous "Mortal Kombat" versions or they could be from comic books or movies.
The DLC second season pass has already been verified by Ed Boon "Mortal Kombat" creator. The season pass is named "Kombat Pack 2" and it will have more fighting arena, character skins and four new characters.
The Kombat Pack 2 has two Klassic "Mortal Kombat" fighters (Tanya and Tremor) and two movie characters (Jason Voorhees and Predator).
The PlayStation Universe confirmed, the famous "Mortal Kombat" fighter Smoke is definitely included in "Kombat Pack 2." Smoke was last seen in "Mortal Kombat 9" and also has a short appearance in "MKX."
In the last Kombat Pack, there were two outside characters were included in "Mortal Kombat X," one of them will be in Kombat Pack 2. The game already has the go signal from Todd McFarlane, "Spawn's" creator to include the character in "Mortal Kombat X." Spawn is from the series of comic books, "Spawn" will be a playable character in "Mortal Kombat X." McFarlane did explain that "MKX" would have decided earlier though.
Another rational choice for a DLC character in "Mortal Kombat X" is Baraka. The character has been in the "Mortal Kombat" franchise since "Mortal Kombat II" and he already made an appearance in the current series. Baraka has his own voiceovers, own set of moves and programming. It would be easy to transform him into a playable character.
The Kombat Pack 2 season pass will be released next year, April 2016 a $29.99. The pass will have the DLC characters mentioned above, new character skins and more new content. "Mortal Kombat X" gamers can also buy the extra characters individually for a one-time payment.
