After NetherRealm Studios' confirmation about the upcoming expansion of the famous game "Mortal Kombat X," speculations started circulating online.
Aside from the news about the confirmation of the expansion, no other information on "Mortal Kombat X" has been disclosed; however, this didn't stop the fans from creating their own rumors, particularly on the roster of downloadable content or DLC characters that will soon be released.
Ed Boon, the game's creator, regularly posts teasers on "Mortal Kombat X" via Twitter. One of the hints he posted was a silhouette of the forthcoming DLC characters, and according to what gamers have witnessed, it seems like Wolverine's image, implying that he could be one of the upcoming characters in the roster.
Furthermore, "Kombat Pack 2" may launch characters as new villains in the "MKX" main plot, although were not in the present roster of "Kombat Pack 1s." These include Baraka, Rain and Sindel. Other speculated playable DLC characters are Noob Saibot, Spawn and Smoke.
The rumor about Spawn appeared in "MKX" after Todd McFarlane teased that the head allowed Warner Bros to use his character. Who could turn down the go signal? It is the only chance for the "Kombat" creators to use Spawn.
Smoke was a "Mortal Kombat" character way back in 2011, and a gamers' favorite character who sadly didn't have a chance to make a cut in the present roster. He can be seen in the present "MKX" game for a short time, but it would be positive news for gamers if he seems as a game full character.
"Mortal Kombat" Noob Saibot is a secret fighter. Also being a famous character, he could be in the roster. As of today, there is no confirmed release date yet, and it is anticipated that the DLV will be launching during the first quarter of 2016.
