Ed Boon, "Mortal Kombat" franchise creator has hinted that "Moral Kombat X" will have new playable characters. Boon also announced via Twitter that, gamers can anticipate to witnessing, " Who's next" in the video game during the Game Awards, which will happen on Dec. 3, Thursday.
The characters roster is divided into three parts: DLC, Classic and new characters; each has its own strength and power.
The DLC Characters includes, Goro, Predator, Jason Voorhees, Tanya and Tremor. Tanya was first introduced in "Mortal Kombat 4," she is an warrior with acrobat abilities who develops her fire magic blows.
The Classic Characters included Jax, Ermac, action movie star Johnny Cage, shady arms dealer, Kano, blind with telekinetic fighter Kenshi and Special Forces cooperative Jax. Other characters are; Kung Lao, Mileena, Raiden, Kitana, Quan Chi, Reptile, Raiden, Scorpion, Shinnok, Sub Zero and Sony Blade, Gamespot reported.
The new characters are listed as follows: D'Vorah who is an insect-like warrior who can call other bugs and wasps, Erron Black, Johnny Cage's daughter Cassie Cage, Jacqui Briggs (Jax's daughter), Kotal Kahn, Kung Jin and Takeda Talahasi.
In September this year, the developer, NetherRealm confirmed that there will be more "MKX" characters would be launched in the last quarter of 2016. Assumingly, the revelation on Thursday will be one of the shadowed in the released trailer.
Game Awards organizers have assured 10 international debuts for the event. Realty Today will have the trailers and news from the show to update you, as they are launched. "Who's next" is the NetherRealm's term used in the previous teaser of the new characters.
"Mortal Kombat X" was released originally in April 2015, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. DLC characters debuted before and have Predator, Tremor, Tanya and Jason Voorhees, although, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of "MKX" have been canceled.
