One Direction band member Niall Horan was spotted packing on PDA with Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez at a Los Angeles party on Friday, Dec. 4. This further sparked the dating rumors between the two stars which started in late November.
Horan, 22, and Gomez, 23, were spotted dancing closely together, kissing and hugging each other at Channing Tatum's wife birthday party, leading to speculations that the two are among the newest couples in Hollywood, E! News reported.
Before that, Horan and Gomez had been seen at Staples Center as the songstress and One Direction both performed at KIIS FM 2015 Jingle Ball show. They left the stadium at the same time and met at the party soon afterwards.
A source told Us Weekly that the two were "very close together, talking, and whispering."
"Niall got there first with his bodyguard, then the next thing I know, I looked over and Selena was there," the insider said.
The pair left Jenna Dewan-Tatum's party with the pop singer holding the 1D member's arm as they went out.
It seems like the rivalry between the boy band and Bieber continues even after the recent report that the Biebs beat One Direction for a top spot in the Billboart and ARIA album charts last November.
Meanwhile, Bieber and Gomez have remained mum on the status of their relationship, even as they were seen strolling around Beverly Hills in late November. The former teen hearthrob even serenaded the pop singer with a couple of songs at the hotel bar that night, according to reports.
Bieber and Gomez were a power couple from 2010 to 2014 with an on-and-off relationship status. Their last and most recent PDA took place in the said Beverly Hills venue. Two weeks after, reports started to surface linking Gomez to Horan.
The "Good for You" singer was seen with the 1D member and other friends enjoying dinner together in Los Angeles, only days after her romantic evening with Bieber. Horan and Gomez claimed to be "just friends" at the time.
Interestingly, shortly after the reports of Gomez and Horan's PDA at the Los Angeles party surfaced, Bieber shared on his Instagram a throwback photo of himself holding hands with Gomez, with the caption "Crazy Throwback."
