‘Gotham’ Season 2B Spoilers: Melinda Clarke Joins the Cast as Grace van Dahl; B.D. Wong Teases about his Dr. Strange Look

Another character is added to the long list of those who will make an appearance in "Gotham" season 2B. Melinda Clarke has just been confirmed to play a role in the FOX Series.

The inclusion of Clarke in the "Gotham" cast is already cemented, Carter Matt reported. The 46-year-old actress will be reunited with his "The O.C." co-star Ben McKenzie, who is currently playing Jim Gordon, the main character in the villain-filled series.

The said report also mentioned that the American actress will be playing a character named Grace van Dahl, a well-educated and clever woman who is not too shy of getting what she wants no matter what the cost is. Based on this description, it would seem that Clarke will play yet another villain role. Could she be the series' replacement for the cunning Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett-Smith), whose death is still a mystery?

Grace will first appear in "Gotham" season 2, episode 15. It would be interesting how this new character will play out with all the other villains set to appear during the second half of the FOX series. After the Theo Galavan villain invasion during the first half of "Gotham" season 2, Victor Fries, also known as Mr. Freeze (Nathan Darrow), will likely be the main bad guy for the rest of the season.

On the other hand, they are not the only villain making their entrance in Gotham. Dr. Hugo Strange (B.D. Wong) is also bound to appear in season 2B. It would seem that fans are not the only ones thrilled with the arrival of the mad scientist. Wong recently posted a picture of him on Instagram sporting possible looks for his character, Hugo Strange. The 55-year-old actor captioned the photo with "WHICH ONE OF THESE MEN WILL BE #hugostrange on #gotham?"

The "Jurassic World" actor had six possible looks posted but the one closest to the image of the comic villain is him sporting the bald head, a beard and a pair of circular spectacles.

Fans can catch all these new villains when "Gotham" season 2 comes back on Fox in February next year.
